Why Is Aspirin Prescribed After Having Repeated Miscarriages?

hi just wondering im on clomid days 5 to 9 this is our 6mnth had 3 miscarriages then found out i had hashimotos disease i am now on 100mg thyroxine a day and am fine but my gyno has just prescribed me with an asprin a DAY WHY IS THIS WHAT IS THE PURPOSE?
