Why Is Betnesol Shot Prescribed During Pregnancy?
I am 38 weeks pregnant and doctor has told me to take 3 dose of betnesol injection at one go. In the internet I saw that it is given in case of premature labor whereas doctor had always told me that my baby is healthy and everything is normal....why am I adviced to take this injection? Can u help me out in getting my query solved? Do u feel that there was any risk involved?

I suppose your doctor might have prescribed it as a precautionary measure to make sure baby's lungs mature if the delivery happens before the due date it doesn't indicate that something is wrong with the baby. Lungs of baby will not be fully matured before the due date in some cases to avoid this yo hhelp baby breathe healthy prescribed medication will help.
