hi i am sujatha ,i am using CCQ 50 mg from last 3 monts and no conicive ,every month i got regular periods but i did not get pregancy ,what is the use of this tablet ,my family doctor done Hyderotubation on 7 th day of periods ,there any choice to getting pregancy on this month
CCQ is a drug that is used to induce ovulation which means to help you produce an egg and get pregnant. It is helpful only for women that are not ovulating (not producing an egg).
If you have regular periods you very likely do ovulate as generally the women that have problem with ovulation have irregular periods or very little or rare periods (every 35 or more days). Because you have regular periods and the drug has not helped you to conceive maybe your doctor will need to consider other causes of infertility and rule them out.
So you might need to do a histerosalpingogram and your husband have a semen analysis. He may also do tests to check if you are ovulating like LH urinary tests around the calculated time of your ovulation and also progesteroneblood test on day 21 of your cycle.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
