Why Is Duoluton-L Contraceptive Prescribed For Heavy Bleeding?

Hello doctor My wife is having heavy bleeding for last 20 days , one of the doctor prescribed Registron for 21days, while he takes registron daily the bleeding stops. Now they complete 21days , again the bleeding has started. We have consulted another doctor , who has know prescribed Duoloton-L . We are totally confused and helpless, understand from your answers to question Duoloton _L is a contraceptive pill , why did doctor prescribe Duoloton-L for heavy bleeding. My wife age is 42. Please advise.

I really appreciate your concern, such irregular bleeding could be due to age and this could be menopause and this is nothing to worry, but it is advisable to have opinion from gynecologist hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
