Why Is Ecosprin Advised During Pregnancy?
I am 20 weeks pregnant. After the last sonograhy, the doc mention high resistance to blood flow into the fetus and put me on 150mg ecosprin. I was on 75mg from the start of my pregnancy. My last pregnancy resulted in a premature delivery at 33 weeks. The doctor also asked for an antibody screening. Is there any cause of concern?

Actually, it is not indicated during pregnancy.
But some conditions it is needed.
It reduces blood pressure during pregnancy. In preeclampsia conditions, It inhibits thromboxane A2 production by platelets and increases the prostacyclin/TXA2 ratio and reduces platelet aggregation.
