Why Is Fertomid Prescribed While Trying To Conceive?

Hi, I am planning for pregnancy and I don t have any health issues and first time we are planning. Just went to doctor for general check up and she gave me Fertomid-100 tablet to take from 2-6th days of my periods. Why she gave that tablets? what is the use of that and how exactly it works? Does this tablet will have any impact on quality of my egg? Please answer me.

Fertomid is an ovulation induction agent. Fertomid can promote ovulation and thus chances for getting pregnant will be higher.
