Why Is Gestofit Tablets Advised During Early Pregnancy?
Dear sir/ mam My wife was pregnant before 2 years and she miscarriage with in 6 weeks of pregnancy after that the pcos problem occurs doctor gives diane35 for 6 months and no cysts after that doctor gives siphene and the pregnancy occurs now pregnancy is of 6 weeks at 4 weeks of pregnancy doctor advise to start gestofit sr 500 , trufol and prolin injection weekly Will is there any prblm and my baby is safe and my pregnancy is safe

First of all I would like to inform you that there is nothing to worry regarding the medicines your wife is taking.
Lets check what are all she is getting..
1-TRUFOL, its actually folic acid,folic acid prescribed to prevent congenital problems in your child and its just like a vitamin tablet and there is nothing worry in it,let me say its free of side effects!
2-GESTOFIT,PROLIN , these are progesterone preparations,progesterone is a female sex hormone,your doctor advised it because she has a past history of miscarriage and have some issues like PCOS,progesterone significantly decrease the chance of spontaneous abortions and in simple words it makes the current pregnancy more stronger!. Progesterone is relatively safe in pregnancy and there is no serious side effects and it cause to baby.
