Hello,
It is a natural phenomenon occuring with diabetics. As the time progresses, beta cell mass in the pancreas gets dwindled resulting in less release of insulin from them. This makes the drugs less effective with time and one has to take either increased dose of the medicine or other medicines belonging to different class of antidiabetic drugs.
You can consult either a diabetologist or an internal medicine specialist who can give you a proper prescription of medicines and manage your diabetes properly.
Thanks
