Why Is LUPI HCG And Susten VT Given During Pregnancy?

Hi i m 29 yr old lady. Had my urine test, and found pregnant. From TVS sonography a very small sack has been found. My doc prescribed me LUPI HCG 5000 and Susten VT 200. Please suggest why my doc has prescribed me that injection and that drug... though i m pregnant ? Please suggest.

Thanks for posting your query. I understand your concerns. HCG also called human chorionic gonadotropin is a natural hormone secreted by the body during pregnancy.

Susten tablets contains progesterone which is also a very much essential hormone needed for the survival of pregnancy.

As ultrasound has shown a very small sac your doctor has prescribed you the above drugs, to prevent any untoward complications.

So no need to worry. There are no side effects of the drug on baby.
