Q WHY WOULD MY DR PRESCRIBE METRONIDAZOLE FOR MY STOMACH ISSUE? WHAT COULD I TAKE FOR BURNING IN ESOPHAGUS AND PAIN IN LEFT SIDE OF STOMACH. I VE TRIED ZEGRID, DYCLYCLOMINE FOR THE BURNING AND TRAMADOL FOR THE PAIN.

Take an antacid as well along with drug as Pantoprazole. Avoid tea, coffee, alcohol and fast fried foods.
