Hi..
Can understand your concern..

As per your query VALIUM contains DIAZEPAM which is a BENZODIAZEPINE and is used as an anti-anxiety medicine and is used to relax a person and control restlessness and anxiety.
It can be used for a good sleep in case a person cannot sleep due to stress, anxiety or other issues by calming down the brain..

It is given at times before a dental procedure to reduce anxiety that will ease both the patient and the dentist to perform the treatment easily with patient cooperation..

It is given to you to alleviate anxiety during the dental procedure and you should take it according to the prescription and not two together, taking one at night will give you a sound sleep and one before dental appointment will keep you calm and not anxious and ease in the treatment..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards..
