Why Is A Red String Like Substance Present In The Stools During Pregnancy?

I m 18 weeks pregnant and I just started having diarrhea and I just went to the bathroom and looked and in the toilet it was like a red string it s was kinda long and just really looked like a string but I don t have anything red on so I know it couldn t of came from anywhere else.. I m worried now.

Hello,

It might be blood in your stool. Do you have bowel movements regularly? Constipation is a common problem in pregnancy. Be sure to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day and eat vegetables.
