General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

Induced coma is done to prevent brain damage as a part of the liver failure. It will prevent permanent brain injury.

Nothing much to worry as the treatment is on the right track.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
General & Family Physician
