Why Is Augmentin Unable To Give Relief From Pain And Burning Sensation In Throat And Ears?
Hi , I'm taking augmentin 1g twice daily n today at 12:00 hours it will be 48 hours of taking this medicine but still no recovery n I'm feeling worse than before. Last night couldn't sleep because I had so much pain and burning sensation in my throat n both ears.

Hi I thonk you have very severe throat infection and it is not reducing with oral antibiotica.
You will have to take intravenous antibiotics and pain killers also.
Foe this you may have to get admitted and evaluated .
You may have to get your blood counts and throat swab also forc/s.
Anyway please consult your doctor.
