Hi.
Thanks for your query and great understanding you have as a Dentist.

If tuberculosis is suspected , it is better to go for a newer, better diagnostic test called '' Quantiferon gold test for TB"

Also go for the tests for Thyroid function tests, samples to be given in the morning on empty stomach.

Let the other tests also help in deciding the problems- as are awaited.
