Caffeine is horrible for you. It causes heart palpitations, it increases your heart rate. It's basically a stimulant, a drug really, and even decaf coffee and teas still has caffeine in it. I had to severely limit caffeine too. It's in Coke and other pops too, but they don't list it. I feel sorry for you guys in the USA as all the new pops are SUPER charged with caffeine...I think they legally have to put it on the cans there but not here in Canada. So if you have a heart condition and continue with the caffeine you will make your heart worse and feel worse. Caffeine is not good and you should learn to replace it with something better for you. SALT is another very, very bad thing. It increases your blood pressure considerably. You should be on a very low sodium diet as a preventative measure as there is way too much sodium in everyone's diet. Today's kids are going to be mighty sick adults unless parents intervene and protect them from all the garbage manufacturers shove in foods to make them more appealing.
