Why Is Codeine Positive In A Drug Test?

hi, my daughter is a Correctional Officer with a bad shoulder, just had surgery for her gall bladder removed and has had a random drug test at work. She is prescribed Hydrocodone for her shoulder and an anti-depressant. Her drug test came back positive for codeine and she is freaking out ! what would cause this as she is not a pill popping individual !
