Why Is Heart Compression And Dizziness Recurring After Wpw Ablation?

Husband 31. Diagnosed with wpw this year and had an ablation done in October. He has remained symptom free till 2 nights ago. Had an odd episode different than the racing of his heart he had before. Said that it felt as if his heart was compressing and then released. He was also dizzy when this happened. Any thoughts as to what caused this??

Hi,

In a few patients up to (8-10%), there is a recurrence of accessory pathway lead to WPW syndrome.

Also possible it may new onset of another arrhythmia so please consult your physician/cardiologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
