Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic,
Pain over hair roots (Trichodynia) is a sign of inflammation of hair root. It could be because of your oil massage if it was vigorous or due to dandruff which is again an inflammatory condition. Sometimes before hair fall an associated trichodynia is noticed. If it is because of oil massage it will subside in two three days. It is better to avoid oil if you have dandruff as it makes it worse. You can use a shampoo containing ketoconazole and ZPTO thrice a week to control your dandruff.
Hope this helped,
Take care.
