Why Is It Suggested Not To Stop Oxycontin On Your Own?

why it is suggested to NEVER STOP TAKING OXY CONTIN on your own or go COLD TURKEY

Altough to better judgment I have recently done this and I am on my 7th day of pure hell, but its is way easier as days passes. Should I go bak taking oxy contin again at this stage

Stopping cold turkey leads to strong withdrawal symptoms. That is why, people usually taper these drugs off. However, since you have been off Oxycontin for a week and the worst is already over, you should not resume taking it again. In a few more days, you will be feeling much better. Please do not worry.
