Why Is My Fiance Having Pains In His Left Side Of His Chest?

My fiancé and me are laying in bed and he's getting really sharp pains in his left side of his chest. Than it's shooting down the left side and back up. Everytime it does it, he says it's making him have to pee and it hurts to pee. What is it and what do we do?

Thanks for your question on Health Care Magic.
I can understand your fiance 's situation and problem.
By his history and description, possibility of left sided renal colic (stone) is more.
But better to first rule out cardiac cause because left sided sharp chest pain is mostly due to heart diseases.
So get done ecg. If ecg is normal, than no need to worry for heart diseases.
Renal stone causes similar kind of sharp, stabbing pain in front as well as back.
So get done ultrasound examination of abdomen to rule out left renal stone.
If this is also normal than he is mostly having musculoskeletal pain. So painkiller and muscle relaxant drugs are beneficial. Apply warm water pad on affected site. Avoid movements causing pain.
Don't worry, he will be alright. But first rule out cardiac diseases and renal colic.
Hope I have solved your query.
Wishing good health to your fiance.
Thanks.
