Why Is My Husband Suffering From Chills, Fever, And Rapid Breathing?

My husband had a cat scan yesterday and has been suffering chills and fever in turn with rapid breathing. I gave him Panadol to bring down the fever. Should he go back to the hospital this morning? Is this dangerous? I read somewhere that it is a reaction to the dye.

Hi. Ususally the reaction to the dye is immediate, but can be delayed in a very few cases. Give him something like tab avil or cetirizine and definitely go to the Doctor to ascertain the cause.
