Why Is My Left Cheek Swelling So Much?

I have been chewing Gutkhas for 15 years. Just recently stopped chewing. I have swelling in left cheek from the last teeth to the lip.often bite myself. internal skin has a thin fibrous line visible. one of the gums is pulpy on the inner side of teeth. Has continuous burning sensation and irritability.

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the swelling could be because of the tooth or gum infection leading to cellulitis, the thin line over the mucosa could be frictional keratosis due to chronic irritation by the teeth on mucosa...the burning sensation could be because of the oral submucous fibrosis whic is a premalignant condition...you have to consult a oral physician to rule out all these things and check for any ulcers or growth in the oral cavity. you should stop the habit of gutkha chewing otherwise it might lead to cancer....i hope my answer will help you.. take care..
