Why Is My Left Fourth Toe Still Red, Swollen, And Painful A Month After Stubbing It?

I stubbed my fourth toe in left foot going in a month I banged it into my crutch I just had foot surgery on my right foot Dec 23 and it has been in pain and bruised since early March I went doc and X-ray shows no broken bone but it is red and swollen and the top area stings and is painful it is keeping me from walking very well and cannot sleep well either what is going on I am 52 female 258 lbs I understand my weigh doesn’t help anything and my goal is to change that if I can only get through these feet issues — help
