Why Is My Nipple Painful When Touched ?

My girl friend is 20 yrs..5ft 2inch tall weight of around 50. She has been experiencing pain in her left nipples.She is saying if there is any friction on to it..i.e if she tuches it or thers water poured ovr it..etc. then it pains in ther ..she says the pain she feels is externally..and doubts it cud b sme cut or sme thng..though it cant be seen. i am really worried abt her condition..Expecting a reply at d earliest.nd advicin u to tel d nature of her problm..nd possible remedy.Mail me your reply at coolhari10@yahoo.co.in

The pain and extra sensitivity of the nipples is sometimes related to the hormonal changes that occur normally during the periods. Still she should check carefully for any discharge and get her breast examined for any lump and possibility of any other disease.

well it should be properly examined as there might be some lump so..her examination is quite necessary but dont worry she will be fine...try to contact some surgeon doctor so that he can properly examine her
