Why Is My Period Late?

Hi, am 26 yrs and got married a year back. I last got my mentural on april 18th and did not get after that. I gave a urine test and it showed negative for pregnancy. I consulted a gynecologist and she prescribed me susten 300mg tablets for 3 days. am i pregnant? if yes will it harm my baby?
