Why Is My Vagina Swollen, Red And Has White Dots On It?

HI! about a month ago I had a severe bacterial bladder infection caused by ecoli in my vagina. I took pill prescribed by my obgyn. The infection went away. HOwever now My vagina is very swollen red and white spots were in my discharge I thought it was a yeast infection so I took monostat. But now my boyfriend has a dry penis and white stuff flakes off. Its exremely painful to have sex so we havent for a while. What is this?
