Why Is My Vision Blurred After A Dyed Hair Went Tin My Eye?

My hairdresser accidentally pulled hair coated in hair dye through my eye yesterday. I wiped and irrigated it immediately but it was quite painful all evening and is still so today. This evening it has become much more sees service and feels as of I have something in my eye. My vision is a little blurred. I have re irrigated and used comfort drops. Should I go to A and E or leave for a further twenty four hours?

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having problem of blurring of vision following entry of hair dye into the eye. This indicates corneal damage caused by the dye. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and artificial tears eye drops.
Since this condition is involving the vision it seems to be serious hence this requires treatment under supervision of a ophthalmologist. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
