Why Is My Wife Not Losing Weight Despite Walking For Nearly 10km?

Hello Sir My wife had an abortion last year in Jan and since then she put on 10 kg weight. She has little bit thyroid as well. She is trying very hard to loose her weight but result is not so good. She is walking almost 10 kms everyday on treadmill and taking restricted diet as well. Kindly suggest what could be the reason for this slow weight loss. Thanks.

If she's restricted her calorie intake to no more than 1500 calories per day and she still can't lose much weight, the problem is likely from a low thyroid function and if she's taking thyroid supplementation and her TSH level isn't below 2.0 the dosage needs to be increased. If she isn't taking any thyroid hormone, then she needs to be on that
