Why Is The Shape Of One Of My Eyes Different From The Other?
I am experiencing something with my eyes that has happened in the past and lasted a few years then went away and woke up this morning with the same problem again. It looks like one of my eyes is a completely different shape than the other. One eye is large and round and the other is normal. It looks like I am surprised in one eye! I am worried about it because it is very noticeable.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
First get checked for thyroid dysfunction as they can cause enlargement of the eye ball but it usually is bilateral. I would advise you a retina check up and also a scan of the orbit to look for any mass pushing the eye ball from behind.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

You have to get it checked by an ophthalmologist. He will advise you a scan of the orbit to see for any mass pushing it from behind. Also he will test their nerve function and Retina and might order a thyroid function test.
