Why Is The Wound On My Finger Not Healing?

I have a wound on my finger that won't heal. I don't remember doing anything to it, but it looked like a blood blister. The blister was small but growing, so I decided to relieve the pressure. I took a pin and popped it. From the very small pin hole it bled and wouldn't clot. I tried putting liquid skin on it but it wouldn't hold. It's been 2 weeks and the hole is bigger and flesh is protruding slightly from it. It's on the side of my thumb, so I bump it frequently, but I would have expected it to heal by now. I have had other small wound since then that have healed fine, and i have never had any problem with healing in the past. Is there anything I can do to help it heal?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi. From the history you have provided , this is a granuloma , hence not healing. You may need the exploration by the Surgeon as there may be a small foreign body residing inside.
Stop fiddling with it. Consult a Surgeon .
