Why Is There A Difficulty In Walking Despite The X-ray Shows Normal?

Back history: I injured my foot 7 1/2 weeks ago. The doctor said I crushed it( under my other foot) X-ray showed no broken bones. My doctor said it was ok to walk on it. I went on vaction and I am still having a hard time walking on it. What can I do to help my foot till I get home?

Hi,

Even though you didn't have any fracture on X-ray but soft tissue injuries can't be ruled out. So rest, soft footwear, analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen and avoiding strenuous activities should be ensured.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Wishing you a speedy recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Saddiq Ulabidin, General & Family Physician
