Why Is There A Less Bleeding During Menstruation?

hi doctor , my period was due on 24 march ,but i got very small bleeding on 19 th march only for one day.today ie 3.4.2011 i go thru pregnnency test at home and one red line and a very faint dot (spread of red coulor) came at strip.pls advise if i am pregnent
