Dear friend.

Thanks for sharing your concern.

you have bleeding gums due to gingivitis.

That is inflammation in the gums.

The signs of gingivitis are redness, swelling .mild irritation to gums and bleeding on mild touch.

In this case Please visit your dentist and get oral examination done.based upon the its progression, scaling can be advised.single sitting,or multi sitting scaling.

Meanwhile maintain very good oral hygiene.

Do frequent warm saline rinses and also do antiseptic mouth rinses to prevent any infection.

Hope it helps.

Thanks.

Take care.

Hi,

Thanks for asking the query,

Bleeding of gums occurs due to inflammation of the gums known as gingivitis , this occurs due to improper oral hygiene, plague and calculus deposition, nutritional deficiencies, systemic diseases like diabetes, leukemia.

I would suggest you to get a checkup done.
Go for symptomatic treatment of complete mouth scaling and polishing.

Take complete balanced diet including plenty of raw vegetables, fruit juices.
Take multivitamin tablets, drink plenty of fluids.

Brush twice daily with a soft bristle toothbrush.
Use colgate plax mouthwash after brushing your teeth.

Hope this helps out.

Regards..

You are suffering from a problem known as Gingivitis. Gingivitis is caused by various reasons like poor oral hygiene, drugs, leukemia, diabetis. Get a scaling done once in 6 months. brush twice daily, floss daily, clean your tongue using tongue cleaner. Hello and welcome to HCM,

This is the most common query we all come across.

Bleeding of gums is a sign of inflamation and some sort of destruction of the gingival epithelium.

The most common causes include:
a.formation of plaque and calculus(yellow deposits)
b.improper brushing
c.gum infections
d.diabetic
e.vitamin deficiency
f.hormonal changes

Coming to the treatment part :

a.Scaling ie.,cleaning of teeth must be done first and foremost.
b.Secondarily depending on clinical and radiological findings if the gum infection is severe FLAP SURGERY ie.,surgery involving the gums, must be undergone.
c.Use of mouth wash and gargling of mouth.
d.Use of gum massage

Hope so this will help you,

Thank you.

dear sharad
bleeding gums and swelling is common due to deposits of plaque and calculus.calculus is hard deposits of minerals and food particle leftovers.lot of bacterias reside inside which leads to gum inflammation which in turn leads to bleading and swellon gums.removal of this deposits can give immediate relief.possibly there could be other reasons which any qualified dentist should be able to help you.

Hi
Welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.

A bleed from the gums must never be ignored ,it could mean a foriegn food particle lodgement in tooth socket which could pressurise the gums, any infection called gingivitis , or even a bleeding disorder, scurvy- vit C deficiencies also. You must avoid using hard bristled tooth brush and use soft one, rinse the mouth with warm saline water often and could also use metrogyl ointment if there is an infection with bad breath.See a dentist if this persists
for the gum curve you must contact the dentist for further treatment, procedure are there to set it right.
