Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
From your history and description, you seemed to be having a fungal infection near the groin. ( Jock itch)
Panderm cream contains Clobetasol propionate which is a potent steroid. This could cause side effects like skin thinning, burning, irritation and striae especially when used in the delicate groin area. It can initially relieve your itching as it has a steroid but it allows the fungus to overgrow and will result in increased itching after a few days along with redness and burning.
You could apply a cream containing 2% ketoconazole or 1% terbinafine twice a day for 3 weeks.
Please discontinue Panderm cream.
Hope this answers your query.
Take care.
