Why My Back Head Is Sensitive To Touch?

Hi, I m a 47 year old female and for the past 2 weeks the back part of my head, on the right side has been sensitive to the touch. It also hurts when I turn my head swiftly or when I touch my hair. I am also having trouble sleeping on my right side due to the pain when my head touches the pillow.

Hi.
Thanks for your query...
This is very classical of the pinched nerve syndrome.
The sensory nerve supplying the affected area gets entrapped into the muscles which have gone into spasm, hence give pain as described by including the increase in pain during movements you described.
This can be best treated with muscle relaxant ointments and tablets under care of a Doctor.
