Why My Body Is Not Processing Fat?

My body doesn t process fat. I have had several medical tests and the outcome is my thyroid gland with me almost 50 and my other glands are not processing fat like they should. I was 96 pounds normally for years eating sweets proportionally too then 106 when I got married and pregnant and 126 when I delivered our only son 7 lbs. 6 ozs. I think it is going to take extra workout with my doctors that run blood tests to get the weight off and keep it off. What do you think the problem is?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Thank you for asking!
Pregnancy and change in lifestyle with hormonal imbalances will all be considered in your recent weight changes. It takes a little while to get back to normal. Keep a good healthy lifestyle and do as directed by your doctor. It is a physiologic weight gain during pregnancy.
There is nothing to worry about. Get the hormonal imbalances sorted out by an endocrinologist. Seek an FDA weight loss specialist if the problem persists in a few months.
Take care
