Congratulations on your pregnancy. I believe it is your first pregnancy and the fetus will be male, becuase i have read in some magazine that in cases of male fetus the skin will become darker and may have some spots. I also faced the problem for two times and now I am mother of two healthy male childs. During my first pregnancy I was very much concerned and I tried almost everything. During my second pregnancy I got Aloe Vera cream and believe me it is very effective in controlling the darkness. I used it daily twice a day and really this cream has done wonders for me. I will advice you to go for the same and definitely it will control the darkness that you are facing and will definitely help in that.
Hi muskan
Welcome to health care magic.
Your problem is suggestive of melasma which is seen in many pregnant woman. U can apply Aloe vera cream daily after bath.It will subside after delivery. After delivery if it is not reducing then U can consult dermatologist.
Thank you
Even i have got the similar problem..i met a dermatologist...he told this as something called as melasma and is related to pregnancy....the main reason is harmonal imbalance which happens during pregnancy and it will dissapear automatically after delivery ....so nothing to worry...
this is something to do with hormones and skin sensitivity in pregnancy to hormones. it is the pregnancy hormones that cause blackening of cheek.it is permanent if it sticks for long time. i was also told that it will disappear after delivery but it did not and i had to go to skin doc who put some liquid on face and removed the darkening spots.
