Why My Hair Is Not Growing?

Hi. I am 22 year old female. I have recently noticed a lump between my anus and vaginal opening. I thought it may have been a pile however I am unsure now. It almost feels like a blister that is deflated. I am getting no discharge or bleeding and it does not hurt to touch at all. I feel I am getting some vaginal pain however this could be psychological due to me thinking the worse. What could this be?? Thank you.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to rectocele which is a herniation (bulge) of the front wall of the rectum into the back wall of the vagina. When rectoceles are small, they don't cause any symptoms.

I suggest to consult a gynecologist to confirm the diagnosis and take proper treatment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
