Why My Husband's Roof Of Mouth Is Bleeding?

My husband has a really hoarse voice. The roof of his mouth is bleeding and looks like there are lots of red veins. He has copd and coughs a lot sometimes vomiting. It's the bleeding that is worrying me. He also suffers dry mouth. Should I be worried?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query, the bleeding from the roof of the mouth could be because of many reasons like trauma to palate or it can be from the infected gums or any arterovenous malformation...consult a oral physician and get your oral cavity checked completely. you need to get your complete hemogram done including INR, and need to take radiographs like OPG to rule out any pathology...dryness could be because of the drugs taking for COPD or any defect in saliva secretion for this you can consume lot of water..keep sipping water..if it is severe then use artificial saliva like wet mouth gel..i hope my answer will help you..take care..
