Hi.. Menstruation is governed by hormones.. Any alteration in these hormonal cycle due to stress, infection, nutritional status, endocrine problems, PCOD and many other factors will cause menstrual irregularities.. Irregular menstruation can result in defective ovulation and inturn problems during conception.. Hence you need to know what exactly is the cause for your symptoms..
