Why My Period Is Continuing For 2 Weeks?

I had a baby 5 months ago (c-section). Since then my periods have been heavy and lasted about 7 days. This time it lasted about 4 days then came back about a week later. It has now been 2 weeks and it seems to have let up but has not stopped. Do I need to call my obgyn?
