Why My Pregnant Wife Has Low Hemoglobin?

hai doctor, this is for my wife. She is 8 months pregnant. Her hemoglobin count now it is 9.7 & now she is admitted in hospital for giving trip & iron tablets,good food all. This is the first time of preganancy. She is 27 years aged. Doctor iam so tensed please advise me . Is there anything to fear ?

hello,welcome to healthcare magic forum, need not to worry this is not a big issue,her hemoglobin will come up, besides this the cause for low hemoglobin is her blood is now getting distributed between her and growing fetus in womb that is why it is coming low ....nothing to worry,,continue iron folic acid and balanced diet.
