Why Pimples Occur Only During Growth Of Beard?

Im a male of age 21. I still got pimples on my face and lots of holes to. When my face is clean I mean when its shaved I dont get any pimples..once the beard grows pimples also do come. Is there any relation between beard growing and pimples ? Could you also please tell me how to keep the face clean ? I dont use anything to my face. I was my face with garnier acne fight face wash. Hello,

Welcome to healthcare magic.

From your description, you may not be having the regular pimples or acne. It may be a condition called as folliculitis. This is an infection of the hair follicles and it is commonly seen in the beard area.

Use a good aftershave.

Do not do reverse shaving as this causes ingrowth of hairs which get infected soon.

Use an anti-bacterial cream containing 2% mupirocin twice a day on the lesions.

You could continue the face wash which you are currently using.

Hope this helps you.

Take care.
