Why The Backside Of Head Is Swollen And Sore?

I woke up this am with the back side of my head swollen and sore. It really hurts to just lay on my back. It s right on top of that bump that s at the base if the head about 4 inches from my ear. What can it be? Is there a lymph node there and it s just swollen? I ve felt like crap for the last couple of days anyway.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having some infection on your scalp giving this problem and enlarged lymph nodes in the neck.
consult your doctor and get examined.
You may require one course of antibiotic medicine.
Ok and take care.
