Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Possible causes may be GERD, globus pharyngis, hiatal hernia, throat cancer. Follow these instructions:
1. Avoid alcohol, caffeine, smoking, spicy foods, sour foods, carbonated drinks.
2. Make sure to eat at regular timings.
3. Sit upright for 2-3 hours after eating, do not immediately lie down.
4. Make sure your head is in an elevated position while sleeping.
5. Take Pantoprazole twice daily for 2 weeks early morning before eating and at night after eating.
Even after all these if symptoms persist, than consult your gastroenterologist for a endoscopy or an barium swallow for conclusive diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
