Why The Hips Hurt During A Long Journey?

My hips (or maybe the area between the hips & just below the back) hurt during a long journey. But when i reach home, the pain is gone in very short time. But it really hurts during the journey. Is it the way of my sitting that's wrong? Should i always sit a lot straighter or something like that?
