Why The Periods Have Not Stopped After Taking The Medicine And The Injection?

I have undergo a ovarian cyst surgey and I am given diphereline injection to stop my period. besides that, I am given Norcolut medicine to stop my period. However, I still getting blood regularly. Is it normal? what is the side effect of the injection and the medicine?

Hi,

A prolonged bleeding not controlled by treatment ,after ovarian cyst surgery needs to be seen by the operating surgeon.

They must have sent the sample for histopathology ...the report will help in management of bleeding.

Diphereline is testesterone antagonist & Norcolute is a hormone (progesterone derivative) which helps in controlling bleeding.
