Why The Skin Did Not Grow Back After Water Blister On Feet Erupted And Skin Peeled?

hi, in the past i had a bad water blister develop over my feet (a few inches just below the big toe) as a result of fiction on the skin from a shoe. The blister eventually erupted and the skin peeled off, however the skin did not grow back. Instead the part of my feet with the blister looks like a callus, the area is thick and even when filed it just grows back thick. Is this normal for skin not to grow back, is there anything to promote the growing back of the skin since this callus area on top of my feet is so hideous.

Hello Friend,

If you are having a thick skin over the feet at the site of continous friction, it can be a corn or callus.

This is an easily treatable condition. Various treatment options are available including surgery by excision and electrocautery, topical medications to soften the area.

But it really need an evaluation by a doctor.

so, i will advice you to visit your doctor so that he/she can visualize the lesion and can guide you approproiately.

Stay healthy.

Thanx
