Why The Stitches Are Draining And Swollen After A Facelift?

Hi, I had a facelift done a week ago i,m still very swollen but what is concerning me now is that my stiches are draining quite a bit ,i had no issues with that until yeaterday but last night the draining was enough to mess up my pillow. I go get them removed tomorrow,should I go to the emergency room?

Hello dear,
Swelling and draining of fluid indicates infection of the suture site.It needs early treatment with antibiotics,and meticulous wound care for proper healing.Else,scar can become bad.
So it is better to go today itself.
